Recent Meeting and Workshops Go to: Members' Work in Exhibits Quilt Show 2010 Member Profiles
February is Quiltathon Month. On February 8, 2012, around 50 NeedleChasers gathered at the home of Debbie Lamb-Mechanick. Teams of members sewed 20 quilt tops for donation to HSC Pediatrics. Our WeeBees group will finish the lap-size quilts, which are designed with motifs appealing to children. Below are several examples of the quilts.

In December 2011, NeedleChasers ring in the holidays with a potluck lunch hosted by Debbie Lamb-Mechanick, followed by a "Show and Tell" of member work. Bottom Row: Ann Shirley awards Sue Hannan a special T-shirt for her contributions to Wee-Bees; Renuka Algoma shows "Tropical Fruit Hat"which was named most original entry in Nimblefingers' recent "fiesta challenge"; Cathy Winer with a red and white quilt inspired by the patterns in a marble floor in a cathedral near Prague; Debra Lipp with a guilt made for her by Donna Radner and Debbie Lamb-Mechanick in honor of Deb's recent wedding. |
