Membership

 

NeedleChasers welcomes all persons who are interested in any aspect of quilting or fiber arts.  Our membership year begins in September and runs through August of the following year.

Annual Dues Structure:

• Regular Membership: $25
• New members joining after March 1, 2012: $10
• Individuals who are 80 or older may request a waiver of membership dues.
• Out of town membership: $10 for members outside the DC metropolitan area (may also participate in meetings and the quilt show.)
• We ask members who require a paper newsletter (rather than an electronic one) to pay an additional $5 to defray postage costs.

Annual membership privileges include:

• Participation in monthly meetings and workshops
• The opportunity to display and market your work at our biennial Quilt Show
• The opportunity to create a webpage to showcase your quilts or quilt-related business in the Member Gallery  section of our website for a small fee.
• Monthly newsletter
• Access to the NeedleChasers Library,  that contains over 300 books and DVD’s
• Access to the guild tool library which includes the Accuquilt cutter/dies.
• A 10% discount on non-sale items at local quilt/fabric shops that do not have their own discount programs
• A NeedleChasers Guild pin
• Access to extensive information on quilt related shops and services
• Patterns for boutique items as well as tips and techniques
