The NeedleChasers sponsor monthly activities from September through June on the second Wednesday of the month.

There are eight program meetings that feature a speaker, slide show, trunk show, demonstration, or workshop on a topic of interest to quilters.  These meetings include time for business matters and announcements.  We encourage members to bring their latest quilt and needle projects for "show and tell".

Except where otherwise indicated, program meetings are held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the D.C. Chevy Chase Library, 5625 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington DC  20015-2603, in the second floor Community Room.  For more detailed directions, visit the Chevy Chase Library web site.

In snow or other inclement weather, we follow the closure policies of the D.C. public schools.  If the schools are closed all day, our monthly meeting will be cancelled.  If the schools open late, our meeting will take place as scheduled.  To find out whether the D.C. public schools are closed in inclement weather, listen to your radio or TV, or visit the D.C. Public Schools web site.

In addition to the eight program meetings, two potluck lunch meetings are held in members' homes in December and June.
