On October 5 & 6, 2018, NeedleChasers hosted
nearly 700 visitors to our 21st quilt show,

Just Around the Block.

Those visitors were asked to choose their favorites from among the more than 200 quilts on display.

In the main show, the talented first-place winner was
Bobbie Korengold, for "Ben's Midnight Garden:"

                            Second-place winner in the main show was Debbie Lamb-Mechanick's "Talking Stick:"

                       Two pieces tied for third place in the main show, Kim Kelly's "Secret Garden" (left)
                              and Bobbie Korengold's "Blossoms from the East" (right):

Nan Shapiro's "Block Party" garnered the most votes among the Challenge Quilts:

  Second-place winner among the Challenge Quilts was Liz Brigham's "A View from Above       (left). Marty Fry's "Just Around the Block" placed third (right).

NeedleChasers' own Barbara Clarke won our raffle quilt, "Just Around the Block," made by members of our guild. It was designed by Marty Fry based on the Jen Kingwell pattern "Midnight at the Oasis."
