Several Needlechasers members will be having a show at the Friendship Gallery in Chevy Chase from April 11- May 14. The show contains work by a group of artists called Fiber Friends who meet monthly to share and critique their work. This exhibit includes the work of six fiber artists —-Marina Baudoin, Barbara Eisenstein, Elizabeth Davison, Melinda Lowy,
Donna Radner and Dianne Wolman.
The artists use various approaches and types of fabric and materials to create art pieces for the wall. They include piecing, appliqué, machine and hand work, and various surface design techniques. Each work is designed to express the artist’s particular vision, image or inspiration using the most appropriate techniques and materials chosen by the artist.
