Our members were asked to interpret our show’s theme – “Just Around the Block.” Their quilts could be inspired by time, place, or whatever stimulated them as they considered the theme. The only limitation is that the quilts’ perimeters may not exceed 100 inches. Vote for your favorite!

Opportunity/Fundraising Quilt Information

Just Around the Block quiltThis show’s Opportunity Quilt “Just Around the Block” was made by the members of our guild. It was designed by Martha Fry based on the Jen Kingwell pattern “Midnight at the Oasis.” The quilt measures 90” by 90” and fits a queen size bed. This quilt reflects our guild as it combines traditional block patterns and applique with “modern” fabrics to create a happy end product. This quilt can be yours for a $2.00 ticket, or better yet, buy 3 for $5.00. See a member to purchase or buy at the show. The winner’s name will be drawn at 3:00 on Sunday, October 6. You do not need to be present to win.

Where does the money go?

Proceeds from this quilt are used to support our educational programs and community service activities. Giving of our time and talents to local and not-for-profit organizations has always been a hallmark of our guild. Your generosity will help us continue this service.
