Needlechasers Retreat 2027

NeedleChaser’s first-ever retreat will be held Monday, March 15 through Thursday, March 18, 2027, at Pecometh Center in Centreville, Maryland. Pecometh is a lovely setting near the Chester River with nice areas for indoor and outdoor socializing. We hope you will plan to attend as we are looking forward to a fun and relaxing retreat. Eight meals are included in the cost, beginning with dinner on Monday, March 15, and ending with breakfast on Thursday, March 18. The kitchen can accommodate dietary restrictions. No speaker is planned, so everyone is welcome to bring their own projects to work on. There is the opportunity for attendees to demo new skills for those interested. Each attendee will have her or his own table for sewing. The center provides irons, ironing boards, and cutting tables.

Pecometh has 24 hotel style rooms, with single or double occupancy available. The non-refundable cost for a single room is $637 if paying by cash or check or $656 if paying through Square. Your spot will not be guaranteed until you have paid in full. The cost for double occupancy is $466 by cash or check or $480 through Square. Your roommate must be noted on your registration form, and you both must have paid to hold your room. If you are looking for a roommate, let Pam Zurer know as she will try to put members in that situation in touch with each other. 

Sign up for the retreat through this Google form. It contains links to pay via Square, or you can bring a check to an NCCC meeting. The drop-dead date for the guild to provide our total number of attendees is September 16, 2026, so everyone who plans to attend should be registered with full payment no later than the close of our September meeting. If you find you cannot attend, your reservation may be able to be transferred to another member on a waiting list.
